Having lived with type 1 diabetes (insulin dependent) for 27 years,
I have never let it get in the way of my professional and athletic goals.

Recognition for sporting ability and achievements has enabled me to use my Diabetes in a positive way to help encourage and motivate people around me.

I have always accepted new challenges, especially when it comes to sport. I love competitions, and work hard to be the best I can be.

The need for support, supervision and understanding from health and fitness professionals is essential. No one can go it alone!
