It’s about belonging to a club that has values, actually that’s probably the main reason why I’m still there.
I’ve been a member for 8 years and I can honestly say joining BodyTech was one of my better training decisions. My main passion is martial arts which I spend too many hours at. However today I don’t have the recovery of youth or the compulsion to flog my aging body 24/7. I do however have a secret that keeps me ahead of the game, BodyTech and there are 3 very good reasons why.
The first is their training methodology. BodyTech knows what works, shorter, harder, more intense workouts ultimately resulting in better results, allowing me more time to pursue other pleasures.
The second is the equipment. Having dined on free weights and poorly structured torture racks most of my life it’s a pleasure to use equipment designed for the body (in fact many of the machines are medical exercise machines). This allows me to train intensely without fear of injury.
Finally the third is the people. The professionalism, knowledge and values of the management and staff make me feel valued. They know about coaching and are partners in my own personal journey.
In relation to martial arts, BodyTech gives me an edge over my younger training colleagues. At 50 it’s about training smarter for better outcomes. Time and energy is valuable and BodyTech definitely helps here. It’s also about belonging to a club that has values which BodyTech certainly does. Actually that’s probably the main reason why I’m still there.
